Bilge Mutlu

Bilge Mutlu is the Sheldon B. and Marianne S. Lubar Professor of Computer Science, Psychology, and Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as the director of the People and Robots Lab. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), human-robot collaboration, social robots, and educational and assistive robotics. His user-centered research focuses on developing intuitive and effective robotic technologies to enable their successful integration into everyday human environments. His work addresses areas such as robot behavior design, human-robot collaboration interfaces, and the application of assistive technologies in education and healthcare, and has received several international academic awards.
