Munmun De Choudhury

Munmun De Choudhury is the J.Z. Liang Professor at the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology and serves as Co-Lead for Patient Care Research at the Pediatric Technology Center, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Her research spans computational social science, mental health, and social computing, with a focused emphasis on leveraging social media data to understand and improve mental health at the individual and societal levels. Dr. De Choudhury's work has gained international recognition, including innovations in computational technologies for early detection and intervention in mental health. Her research findings have been applied to policymaking and public health domains, and she serves as a technical advisor for multiple international organizations.
