Afsaneh Razi

Dr. Afsaneh Razi is a scholar specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), online safety, social computing, and human-centered artificial intelligence. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida with a dissertation titled “A Human-Centered Approach to Improving Algorithms for Detecting Online Sexual Risks to Adolescents.” She is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University, focusing on research related to privacy, online safety, human-centered machine learning, and social computing. Her work aims to address online risk issues for adolescents through innovative technologies while emphasizing the analysis of user behaviors and attitudes. Her research has received significant recognition in academia, including multiple publications in top conferences such as ACM and CHI.
