Vedant Das Swain

Vedant Das Swain is an Assistant Professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where his research focuses on enhancing workers’ behavioral health through digital applications, behavioral models, and infrastructure transformation. His human-computer interaction research concentrates on developing digital work technologies aimed at alleviating invisible labor, emotional fatigue, and occupational burnout. Additionally, he combines organizational science theories with cutting-edge technologies such as sensors, social media, and AI agents to explore innovative digital interventions that foster the healthy integration of human organizations and technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has published extensively in top-tier human-computer interaction venues, receiving several international awards and funding support.
