Lingyun Sun

Lingyun Sun is a professor at the Modern Industrial Design Institute of Zhejiang University and the director of the International Innovation Design Institute. He also serves as a doctoral advisor at Zhejiang University. With a multidisciplinary research background in artificial intelligence, computer graphics, design cognition, human-computer interaction, and industrial design, he has participated in over ten national-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the 973 Program. His research focuses include design intelligence, information product design, and human-computer interaction. He has published more than 20 high-impact papers in SCI, SSCI, and AHCI journals and holds over 30 invention patents. Professor Lingyun Sun is also dedicated to integrating artificial intelligence into the design process, exploring new paradigms for design cognition and user experience. He is a council member of the Industrial Design Division of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a member of the China Computer Federation, an IEEE member, and a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
