Guanyun Wang

Guanyun Wang is an Associate Professor and the Deputy Chair of the Department of Industrial Design at Zhejiang University. His research focuses on digital fabrication, 4D printing, biomimetic shape-changing design, and human-computer interaction. His work has been widely published in leading journals and conferences such as Nature, Science Advances, CHI, UIST, and UbiComp. His design projects have won multiple international design awards, including the Red Dot Award, iF Design Award, and Ars Electronica STARTS Prize, and have been exhibited at prominent venues such as the China Design Exhibition, Dubai International Design Week, and the London Design Biennale. Before joining Zhejiang University, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University and served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab.
