Yue Yang

Yue Yang is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, under the supervision of Prof. Guanyun Wang and Prof. Lingyun Sun. She is also a visiting researcher at the Morphing Matter Lab, University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), particularly at the intersection of digital fabrication, materials and structures, sensing, and healthcare. Yue Yang aims to bridge design and technology to promote personalized fabrication and improve the quality of life for diverse populations by creating adaptive physical objects. She has published extensively in top-tier HCI journals and conferences, such as CHI and IMWUT, and showcased her work in multiple design exhibitions. Furthermore, she has received several international design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Dezeen Award, and James Dyson Award.
