Ye Tao

Ye Tao is an industrial design researcher at Zhejiang University and an associate professor at Hangzhou City University. Her research spans the intersections of computational design, digital fabrication, human craft, and natural science, focusing on creating new interactive entities or interfaces. Inspired by nature, beauty, and kindness, she employs design principles and technology to innovate multisensory experiences and enhance the value of design. Her research outcomes include the application of 4D printing technology in shape-changing interfaces and advancements in material design for intelligent wearable devices. Her work has been widely recognized and published in top international conferences (such as the CHI Conference) and journals.
