Ye Tao

Ye Tao is a professor and academic associate dean at the School of Art and Archaeology, Hangzhou City University, as well as a visiting expert at the International Design Institute of Zhejiang University. She is an executive committee member of the Human-Computer Interaction and Computer-Aided Design & Graphics professional committees within the China Computer Federation (CCF) and a committee member of the Intelligent Creativity and Digital Arts professional committee of the Artificial Intelligence Society. Ye Tao’s research areas include digital design and fabrication, material and tangible interaction technologies, human-computer interaction interfaces, and digital craftsmanship. She has led several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and her research has been published in top academic journals and conferences such as Nature, Science Advances, and the CHI Conference. She has also received numerous design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, and Ars Electronica. Her design works have been invited for exhibitions at the China Design Exhibition and Dubai International Design Week, among other international exhibitions.
