Kevin Chow

Kevin Chow is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC), focusing on research in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. His doctoral research aims to design digital tools and interventions that comprehensively support knowledge workers' productivity and well-being. His designs are inspired by empirically validated psychotherapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and emphasize a human-centered approach to fostering a healthier, more inclusive, and thriving future of work. During his PhD program, he interned at Slack's Workforce Lab, contributing to research projects related to the future of work. In addition, he has presented and received awards for his papers at several international academic conferences.
