Thomas Fritz

Thomas Fritz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich, where he leads the Human Aspects of Software Engineering Lab (HASE). His research focuses on enhancing developer productivity and well-being by studying their daily work, mental states, and physiological status through empirical research. His interests span developer productivity, personal analytics, information needs, and biosensing technology, driving advancements in developer support tools through these areas. Dr. Fritz earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia and has published numerous impactful papers in the field of software engineering.
