Petr Slovak

Dr. Petr Slovak is a Reader in the Department of Informatics at King's College London and a recipient of the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship. His research lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction, mental health interventions, and learning sciences, focusing on leveraging technology to support the development of social-emotional skills, such as self-regulation, stress coping, and conflict resolution. His team designs and evaluates innovative technological interventions aimed at providing key mental health protective factors to adolescents. His work has been published in leading HCI conferences, including CHI and CSCW, earning multiple Best Paper awards. Additionally, he collaborates with distinguished international institutions such as the University of Oxford, Stanford University, and Harvard University.
