Nikki Theofanopoulou

Nikki Theofanopoulou is a PhD student in the Department of Informatics at King's College London. Her research focuses on developing technology-assisted systems to promote mental health for children and adolescents. These systems are designed to integrate into daily life and clinical settings to enhance emotional regulation skills. Her research adopts a multidisciplinary approach combining Human-Computer Interaction design, psychology, and mental health, and she has published several papers in related fields. Nikki was also awarded the Best Paper Award at the ACM Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing (CSCW) in 2018. She holds a Master's degree in Developmental Psychology from University College London (UCL) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Athens.
