Yuecheng Peng

Yuecheng Peng is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington, advised by Nadya Peek. His research focuses on human-computer interaction, human-AI interaction, and personal fabrication, with particular interests in wearable and biodegradable materials. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design from Zhejiang University (2019–2023) and a Master of Science in Technology Innovation from the University of Washington (2023–2025) before starting his Ph.D. in 2025. As an undergraduate he worked with Guanyun Wang at Zhejiang University on functional-textile fabrication, producing IntelliTex (CHI 2024, Best Paper Honorable Mention), and he later collaborated with Lining Yao's Morphing Matter Lab at UC Berkeley on biodegradable hydrogel devices, producing BioTube (CHI 2025).
