Jennifer Mankoff

Jennifer Mankoff is the Richard E. Ladner Professor at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Washington, and serves as the Associate Director for Diversity & Inclusion. Her research spans accessibility technology, generative AI, 3D printing, and sustainability, focusing on empowering individuals with disabilities to express themselves, engage in society, and solve practical challenges through technology. She previously taught at UC Berkeley and Carnegie Mellon University and has received numerous awards, including the Sloan Fellowship and IBM Faculty Fellowship. As a CHI Academy member, she has led groundbreaking research in accessibility technology and is recognized as an authoritative academic in the field.
