Rosa I. Arriaga

Rosa I. Arriaga is an Associate Professor in the School of Interactive Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology and serves as the Associate Chair for Graduate Research. She is a researcher specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), leveraging concepts, theories, and methods from psychology to address foundational issues in HCI and social computing. Her research interests focus on chronic care and mental health management, designing mHealth systems that address gaps in chronic and mental health care management. These systems aim to enhance user engagement, improve quality of continuous care, support patient self-advocacy, and foster better communication between patients and healthcare providers. She holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Harvard University and has contributed extensively to high-impact research in this field.
