Arjun Srinivasan

Arjun Srinivasan is a research scientist specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and Information Visualization. He currently serves as a Principal Research Scientist at Salesforce, focusing on the development of AI-assisted features for the Tableau platform. His research interests include multimodal interaction interfaces (e.g., speech and touch) and mixed-initiative user interfaces, aiming to design intelligent and expressive visualization tools that enable users to interact with data more efficiently. He earned his PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology under the supervision of Professor John Stasko. His dissertation, which focused on multimodal human-data interaction interfaces, was awarded the IEEE VGTC Visualization Best Dissertation Award. Additionally, he has interned at Databricks AI/BI, Microsoft Research, and Adobe Research, where he contributed to the development of several interactive data visualization and editing tools.
