Audrey Desjardins

Audrey Desjardins is a design researcher and educator. She is a Full Professor in the School of Design at Université Laval and directs its Master of Design with Thesis program. Her work sits at the intersection of product design, interaction design, and research creation. Using research through design, first-person design, participatory design, and critical and speculative design, she examines how people live with technology, with a particular focus on domestic IoT, data, and relationships with everyday objects. She previously taught at the University of Washington for nearly a decade and directed Studio Tilt, a design research studio.
