Cayla Key

Cayla Rai Key is currently a doctoral researcher at the School of Design of Northumbria University, as well as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Mozilla Foundation Fellow. In her research, she rethinks the Internet of Things (IoT) in the home through the lens of feminist ethics of care, exploring how to embed human care into technology design. Her research interests include design research, care perspectives, and the sustainable development of domestic IoT. Additionally, Cayla contributes to the OpenDoTT project, aiming to advance the integration of technology and society.
