Nazanin Andalibi

Nazanin Andalibi is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan School of Information, specializing in research in social computing and human-computer interaction (HCI). Her research focuses on the ethics, privacy, and fairness of affective computing, particularly in high-risk contexts. Her work aims to study and design digital social technologies that support mental health, social support, and stigma reduction. Nazanin is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award and has published multiple award-winning papers in top conferences such as ACM CHI and CSCW. She also serves as an associate editor for the ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction (TOCHI) journal. Currently, she collaborates with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Google on academic research projects.
