Katja Rogers

Katja Rogers is a researcher active in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and Game Research. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and is part of the Digital Interactions Lab (DILAB). Her research focuses on virtual reality, interaction experiences in multiplayer games, and the psychological effects of game audio on players. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from Ulm University (Germany) and collaborated with the HCI Games Group at the University of Waterloo (Canada) during her studies. She has received numerous academic awards, including Best Paper Awards at CHI and CHI PLAY. Katja Rogers also contributes her expertise to several leading international academic conferences, serving as a conference chair and paper reviewer in key roles.
