Humphrey Yang

Humphrey Yang is a researcher specializing in human-computer interaction and computational design, currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on morphing interfaces, computational design and manufacturing, wearable devices, haptic feedback, and biomedical tissue engineering. He has made significant advances in shape memory interfaces, 4D printing, and dynamic material design, with his findings published in prestigious conferences and journals such as CHI, UIST, and Science Advances. He has received multiple awards including the Carnegie Mellon Digital Health Research Fellowship and Taiwan's National Graduate Overseas Study Scholarship. He holds a Master's degree in Computational Design and a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction, both from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from National Cheng Kung University.
