Claudia Núñez-Pacheco

Claudia Núñez-Pacheco is a design researcher and artist, currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology at Malmö University, Sweden. Her research explores body awareness as a design material, drawing on somatic methods such as Focusing to inform interaction design, soma design, and more-than-human design. She holds a PhD in Interaction Design (2018) and a Master of Interaction Design and Electronic Arts (2012), both from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Valparaíso, Chile (2006). Before joining Malmö University, she held postdoctoral positions at Umeå University (2023–2024) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2020–2023), and was an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, Universidad Austral de Chile (2018–2020).
