Airi Lampinen

Airi Lampinen is an Associate Professor focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), as well as Co-Head of the Stockholm Technology and Interaction Research group (STIR). She is also an Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the University of Helsinki. Her research interests include the shared and collaborative use of digital technologies, the social and economic impacts of online platforms, and the workings of algorithmic systems. Currently, she leads the Swedish Research Council-funded project "Sharing Intimate Technologies" and co-leads the WASP-HS project "Through Motion Ethics—Shaping and Being Shaped by Autonomous Systems." Furthermore, she is affiliated with Digital Futures, an interdisciplinary research center initiated by Stockholm University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, and represents Stockholm University in CIVIS alliance research on digital and technological transformations.
