Alessandro Bozzon

Alessandro Bozzon is a Professor of Human-centered AI at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands and has been serving as the Head of the Department of Sustainable Design Engineering since 2020. He is a member of the Netherlands Academy of Engineering and the Chair of the Delft AI Labs and Talents program. His research focuses on designing, developing, and deploying human-centered AI systems with an emphasis on inclusive, responsible, and participatory approaches. He conducts in-depth studies in the areas of crowd computing, user modeling, and human-computer interaction, having published over 200 peer-reviewed papers and earned multiple best paper awards. Professor Bozzon's research has been funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO), the EU Horizon programs, and various industrial partners.
