Mireia Yurrita

Mireia Yurrita is a researcher dedicated to the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Responsible Artificial Intelligence. She is currently a research fellow within the Responsible AI team at Utrecht University and a recipient of the Marie Curie Fellowship. Her research focuses on the fairness and explainability of algorithmic decision-making, as well as designing AI systems to be more responsible and transparent. She pursued a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction at Delft University of Technology and has published multiple academic papers on AI ethics and explainable artificial intelligence systems. Her work aims to advance the development and application of responsible AI systems through in-depth user studies and design explorations.
