Yuntao Wang

Dr. Yuntao Wang is a research-oriented Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, and serves as a technical advisor at the Tsinghua Global Innovation Exchange (GIX). His research interests span human-computer interaction, ubiquitous computing, and physiological computing, with a focus on efficient sensing of behavioral and physiological data and the design of intelligent interaction interfaces for mobile and wearable devices. His research goals include developing robust and efficient sensing techniques, extracting meaningful spatiotemporal patterns from multimodal sensing data, and designing optimized interaction interfaces.

Dr. Wang has published over 80 academic papers, including more than 50 articles in top conferences such as ACM CHI, UIST, and IMWUT. His work has received multiple awards at international conferences and holds more than 30 granted invention patents. He has also received several prestigious honors, including the 2024 Wu Wenjun Outstanding Young Artificial Intelligence Award and the 2019 First Prize of CIE Science and Technology Award.
