Deepika Yadav

Deepika Yadav is a scholar specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and digital health technologies, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University. Her research focuses on collaborative learning for community health workers, women’s healthcare technologies, and the design and implementation of technology-based health solutions. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from IIIT-Delhi, advised by Pushpendra Singh, and subsequently served as a "Digital Futures" postdoctoral researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University. She has published numerous highly cited academic papers on topics ranging from digital contraceptive technologies to the training of community health workers, and has received a Grand Explorations Award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (~$100,000) and an ACM India Honourable Mention (2022).
