Marianela Ciolfi Felice

Marianela Ciolfi Felice is a tenure-track Assistant Professor and Docent at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in the design of data-driven and body-centered technologies. Her research spans critical feminist computing, artificial intelligence, and Soma design, with a focus on designing and evaluating technologies to support organizations and individuals fighting against social inequalities. Her work has received multiple Best Paper Awards and Honorable Mentions at top conferences such as ACM CHI and ACM DIS. Additionally, she is active in the ACM SIGCHI Latin America community and participates in multiple international collaborative projects, including the AymurAI initiative which aims to improve judicial handling of gender violence in Latin America through AI. Her academic journey began at Université Paris-Saclay in France, where her doctoral research centered on designing interactive tools to support creative expert practices.
