Ronald Metoyer

Ronald A. Metoyer is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, where he also serves as Associate Provost and Vice President for Teaching and Learning. His research focuses on human-computer interaction and information visualization, aiming to assist users in analyzing and making decisions through designing and evaluating interfaces for complex tasks. Professor Metoyer has actively promoted diversity in computing and has published more than 85 academic papers. His current research interests include the application of generative AI in knowledge management and healthy meal planning. He received the NSF CAREER Award in 2002 and has excelled in interdisciplinary research addressing knowledge management issues in resource-constrained environments.
