Elizabeth Stowell

Elizabeth Stowell is a PhD student in Personal Health Informatics at Northeastern University, conducting research at the Wellness Technology Lab under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Parker. Her work spans the intersections of public health, human-computer interaction (HCI), and personal health informatics. She primarily focuses on the social determinants of sexual health, disease stigma, global health, and community development, with a particular interest in leveraging community informatics to address inequalities in sexual health. Her research aims to use technology to promote health equity and provide support for underserved populations.
