Christopher A Le Dantec

Christopher A. Le Dantec is a scholar focusing on Digital Civics, Participatory Design, and Human-Computer Interaction. He currently serves as a Professor of Practice and Director of the Digital Civics program at Northeastern University. Additionally, he holds a joint appointment as an Associate Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Interactive Computing and the School of Literature, Media, and Communication. His research spans social computing, urban informatics, human-centered computing, and smart cities. Collaborating with students and community partners, he develops innovative interactive computing systems to facilitate civic engagement, honor community experiences and values, and provide technical solutions to societal challenges. He is also the author of "Designing Publics" (2016, MIT Press).
