April Yi Wang

April Yi Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, ETH Zurich, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), educational technology, and human-AI collaboration. Her research aims to design collaborative, intelligent, and human-centered programming environments to meet the evolving needs of education and professional work. She combines qualitative and quantitative methods to understand users' needs in collaboration and designs and evaluates innovative interactive systems that support large-scale collaboration. Her work includes creating tools for data scientists, educators, and general users to lower programming barriers and promote computational thinking.
