Miranda Wei

Miranda Wei is a scholar dedicated to security and privacy, human-computer interaction, and feminist technology studies. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University's Center for Information Technology Policy and will join the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) as an assistant professor in Fall 2026. Her research focuses on online abuse, digital security threats, and analyzing the socio-cultural dimensions of socio-technical security. Her academic work has been published in top conferences such as USENIX Security, IEEE S&P, and ACM CHI. As an interdisciplinary researcher, she integrates social sciences and computer science approaches to provide insights for building safer digital environments.
