Jaime Teevan

Jaime Teevan is a renowned computer scientist who currently serves as Chief Scientist and Technical Fellow at Microsoft. She drives research-supported innovations and integrates them into Microsoft’s core products. Known for her work in information retrieval, human-computer interaction, and the future of work, she is a pioneer in AI-driven productivity. Teevan earned her PhD from MIT and her bachelor's degree in computer science from Yale University. She previously served as Technical Advisor to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and led Microsoft's research productivity team to develop hybrid meeting tools and AI-powered systems. Her extensive research includes the concepts of personalized search and microproductivity, focusing on helping individuals manage and use information effectively under time constraints. She is an ACM Fellow and has received numerous prestigious awards, including TR35, the Borg Early Career Award, and the Karen Spärck Jones Award.
