Adam Fourney

Adam Fourney is a computer scientist on the Human-AI eXperience (HAX) team at Microsoft Research. He focuses on researching and developing AI agents, exploring ways human-AI collaboration can achieve complex tasks. His current research projects include AutoGen, Magentic-One, and MarkItDown. Prior to joining Microsoft Research, he earned his Master's and PhD degrees at the University of Waterloo in Canada, studying Human-Computer Interaction, Information Retrieval, and User Interface Design. His research has been widely published in leading conferences such as CHI and ACM, providing deep insights into the application of AI in search, intelligent assistants, and complex task collaboration.
