Ari Schlesinger

Ari Schlesinger is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia's School of Computing, where she leads the Socially Responsible Technology Lab. She earned her Ph.D. in Interactive Computing from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on exploring the sociotechnical dimensions of computing, aiming to reduce discrimination and harm in sociotechnical systems. Ari's work spans Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, and Anti-discrimination Computing. She is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary approaches to design and promote accessible harm reduction strategies for the public, research community, and tech industry, advancing equity, inclusivity, and social justice in technology.
