Ge Wang

Ge (Tiffany) Wang is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), and usable security and privacy. She leads the OATS Lab (Openness, Autonomy, Trust in Supportive AI), focusing on designing AI technologies that enhance user autonomy and control over algorithmic decision-making. Ge Wang completed her postdoctoral research at Stanford HAI and earned her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oxford. She also holds a Master's degree in Information Science from University College London and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford. Her research explores the impact of technology on families and children's development, aiming to design AI solutions that adapt to users of different age groups.
