Yun Huang

Yun Huang is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and co-leads the Social Computing Systems Lab (SALT Lab). Her research focuses on social computing systems, particularly designing context-driven crowdsourcing systems to enhance user engagement and data analysis effectiveness. She earned her PhD in Information and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, following her undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. Her contributions span human-computer interaction, social media, and crowdsourcing system design, receiving various academic awards and funding support, including NSF grants and Google Research Awards.
