Fred Hohman

Fred Hohman is a research scientist at Apple specializing in the intersection of human-computer interaction and machine learning. He is dedicated to designing and developing interactive interfaces that help users understand machine learning models and data-driven systems. His research spans machine learning interpretability and data visualization, creating tools and writing interactive articles that simplify complex concepts. As a Ph.D. graduate from Georgia Tech, his dissertation received the ACM SIGCHI Outstanding Dissertation Award and was supported by the NASA Space Technology Research Fellowship.
