Karthik Ramani

Karthik Ramani is the Donald W. Feddersen Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, as well as a professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Education Research. His research encompasses areas such as additive manufacturing, computer-aided design, 3D shape analysis, and human-computer interaction. He leads the Convergence Design Lab, which investigates the convergence of design, manufacturing, and spatial realism, conducting research on future workflows in education and industry. He has published over 420 academic papers and his work, cited more than 15,000 times, has had a significant impact in both academia and industry.
