Jon Rogers

Jon Rogers is a Professor of Design and Creative Technology at Northumbria University, with over 25 years of experience focused on the intersection of design and emerging technologies. He earned his Ph.D. in Neural Networks from Imperial College London in 2000 and spent 17 years as the Chair of Creative Technology at the University of Dundee. His research includes creative technology, the Internet of Things, open-source hardware, and research-led design. At Mozilla Foundation's Berlin office, he led the Open IoT Studio project, exploring responsible IoT technology development.
