Jayne Wallace

Jayne Wallace is a Professor at the School of Design at Northumbria University in the UK. Her main research areas include craft and wellbeing, interaction design, and creative practices for restorative justice. Her work centers on design, exploring how creativity and design can enhance health and well-being, particularly in end-of-life care and chronic illness contexts. She has led several major research projects, such as the EPSRC-funded "Enabling Ongoingness" project, and has published numerous influential papers at international conferences and academic platforms. Jayne’s research combines artistry and social engagement, aiming to improve the wellbeing of individuals and families through design.
