Anastasia Schaadhardt is a Ph.D. candidate at the Information School at the University of Washington, advised by Professor Wanda Pratt, and a member of the iMed research group. Her research interests span Human-Computer Interaction, Accessible Computing, and Health Informatics. Her doctoral research focuses on exploring and redesigning the patient experience in psychiatric hospitalization, in partnership with “Mad in America,” addressing the needs of psychiatric inpatients. She has conducted accessibility research with the Enable team at Microsoft Research and participated in software engineering research through the CRA-W DREU program. Additionally, she is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (2021-2024).
