Anhong Guo

Anhong Guo is the Morris Wellman Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, with an additional affiliation in the School of Information. His research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on designing accessible, collaborative, and innovative interaction systems by integrating human and machine intelligence. His work has garnered multiple Best Paper and Honorable Mention awards at top conferences such as CHI, UIST, ASSETS, and MobileHCI. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, recognized as one of Forbes' “30 Under 30 in Science,” and an inaugural awardee of the Google Research Scholar and Snap Research Fellowship. He holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Electronic Information Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
