Andrea Bianchi

Andrea Bianchi is a tenured professor in the Department of Industrial Design at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the director of the Make Lab. His research covers cutting-edge fields such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Physical Computing, Digital Fabrication, and Extended Reality/Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (XR/VR/AR). He focuses on developing innovative haptic feedback and interaction technologies, unlocking new possibilities in HCI design. As a highly regarded scholar, his work has been recognized with Best Paper Awards and Honorable Mention Awards at prestigious international conferences. Furthermore, he actively contributes to the advancement of HCI as a chair or committee member for multiple leading conferences.
