Naseem Ahmadpour

Dr. Naseem Ahmadpour is a researcher specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Sydney, leading the "Affective Interactions" research group. Her research focuses on the ethical implications of socio-technical systems for future care and work, with a particular emphasis on the applications of immersive technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) in these areas. Dr. Ahmadpour holds a PhD from École Polytechnique Montréal and a master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. Her interests span design ethics, digital well-being, and co-design, and she has published significant academic work in numerous international journals and conferences.
