Phillip Gough

Dr. Phillip Gough is a Senior Lecturer at the Sydney School of Design at The University of Sydney, specializing in biodesign, data visualization, and interaction design. He serves as the Program Director for Biodesign and teaches interdisciplinary courses spanning biodesign, creative coding, and data visualization within the Design Lab and the School of Life and Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on design-driven applications of biology, combining human-computer interaction, digital arts, and design principles to develop innovative solutions for scientific visualization, educational feedback, and interactive data. He is committed to enhancing students' digital literacy and creative capabilities through design methodologies and digital tools.
