Henny Admoni

Henny Admoni is an Associate Professor at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where she leads the Human And Robot Partners (HARP) Lab. Her research encompasses human-robot interaction, social assistive robotics, and human-centered artificial intelligence. Dr. Admoni employs her background in robotics, computer science, and cognitive psychology to develop intelligent algorithms that enable robots to perceive, interpret, and respond to human verbal and nonverbal behaviors. Her research particularly focuses on leveraging natural human communication, such as gaze direction, to reveal internal intentions and enhance human-robot collaboration efficiency. Her work has been featured in mainstream media such as Science Friday.
