Weinan Shi

Dr. Weinan Shi is an assistant researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, specializing in the field of intelligent human-computer interaction. His research areas include text input, context-aware technology, wearable devices, and accessibility technology. He proposed a Bayesian model-based finger motion control capability model, successfully applied in Sogou Input Method, benefiting over 600 million users and significantly improving recall rates and error correction click rates. Additionally, he developed the world's first intelligent keyboard for visually impaired individuals, significantly reducing input error rates. His research has been published multiple times in top-tier conferences such as ACM CHI and IMWUT, earning numerous international awards and domestic competition recognitions, including the ACM CHI Honorable Mention Award and the first prize in the China Ergonomics Design Competition.
